Passwords without the headache
You don't need to remember 40 passwords. You need to remember one.
Reusing one password everywhere is the biggest single risk most people have. When any one website is breached, everything else opens with it.
Use a password manager
Your phone already has one built in and free:
- iPhone: the Passwords app.
- Android: Google Password Manager (Settings → Google → Autofill).
It creates a different long password for every site and fills it in for you. You only remember the one that unlocks it.
Make that one password strong
Three unrelated words plus a number beats a short scrambled one. copper-lantern-mist-84 is both stronger and easier to remember than Pa$$w0rd1.
Fix the important ones first
- Banking
- Apple / Google account
- Social media
That order matters — email can reset the rest.
Check if you have been leaked
Your phone will warn you about reused or leaked passwords:
- iPhone: Passwords app → Security recommendations.
- Android: Google Password Manager → Password Checkup.
Change anything it flags, starting at the top of the list above.
